Eli Perry (December 25, 1799 – May 17, 1881) was a U.S. Representative from New York. Born in Cambridge, Washington County, New York, Perry attended the common schools. He engaged in business in Albany, New York, in 1827 and continued until 1852. He served as member of the Board of Aldermen of Albany for two years. He was a member of the New York State Assembly (Albany Co., 4th D.) in 1851. He was Mayor of Albany from 1851 to 1854, from 1856 to 1860, and from 1862 to 1866. Perry was elected as a Democrat to the 42nd and 43rd United States Congresses, holding office from March 4, 1871, to March 3, 1875. He died in Albany, New York, May 17, 1881.
